The customer needed one production line capable of handling multiple cardboard-box and product sizes, with products varying in height and width.
The line therefore had to change automatically between variants while meeting defined operating constraints, including the maximum product weight.
DIS Systems developed an automated packing line with automatic adjustment of the gripper and conveyor systems so the equipment could transition between different cardboard-box and product dimensions.
The line also integrated stacking of packaged products onto pallets.
