DETAILED CASE

How the equipment was engineered.

Production context, equipment design, scope of delivery and verified customer value.

01 / Customer challenge

Rotate and position large wind turbine main shafts safely during internal assembly.

The equipment had to provide access to the required installation positions while keeping the shaft stable and protecting components throughout the process.

02 / Engineered solution

DIS Systems designed and delivered one rotation unit for two main shaft variants weighing up to 32 tonnes.

The system combines controlled rotation, secure positioning and hydraulic levelling so operators can install internal components at the required positions.
